What to do if you find a tick!

When Max was 15, he was invited to a weeklong photography program in the Great Smoky Mountains. Among the bottles of insect repellant and sunscreen that I stuffed into his backpack, I included a tick collection kit. If he found a tick on his skin, I wanted to get it tested. We have a similar kit in Shaver just in case one of the dogs returns from a hike with a tick.
