New CDC Rules for Importing Dogs

I have seen so much change in the last 15 years as it relates to bringing dogs and puppies into our country. The goal is to prevent the re-introduction of dog rabies into the United States, which was considered eliminated in 2007 (that is, the canine rabies virus variant is no longer in circulation in the United States1).
