Kerry, this might be my favorite Nicholberry Dispatch of all time. Through these videos chosen by you, one can see your kindness, search for understanding, and willingness to accept others. It is a difficult world we live in when we find it, as in my case, difficult to agree with family members, but try not to be judgemental of their beliefs. Thank you for these videos. It brings home to us all the struggle to do the right thing is not an individual issue!
It's so funny you said that Cheryl, because when I pressed "send", I told Brian that it was my favorite Dispatch! Those two videos just hit right in light of all that is swirling around us. Sending you big hugs!
Love this segment! The poem, the video on changing our thoughts and biasis, were perfect for me today! Loved this one so much and got me going down that famous rabbit hole..And then to watch you and Poppins as she so trusting looks to you as you rub and speak to her and then tenderly stroke out little Mr. Navy. This all blended together perfectly. The love and care for not only these beutiful babies but also the care that you show to us in all 3 vidoes to let us search our own thoughts and emothions. thank you Kerry.
Congradulations on this beautiful litter and I am so thankful that everything happened without much issues. THey are beautiful babies!
Wow--Dr. Eagleman's video beautifully illistrated the human's genomic predisposition to identifying other humans in specific ways. The power of bonding on things we can agree on is incredibly powerful. For example, if they, too, love dogs. Obviously, we can become friends! 😁
And, I loved Mary Oliver's line about "gravity and waggery"--we have two labs and that's a perfect description!
You are right about this video. Something we all should see and ponder. Our current environment of extreme tribalism is not productive or sustainable. We need more of a focus on kindness and understanding.

Hi Kerry,
You are right about this video. Something we all should see and ponder. Our current environment of extreme tribalism is not productive or sustainable. We need more of a focus on kindness and understanding.
